In her prime years during the 90s, Zeeteah performed the hit ‘Back To The Old School’ with the Bassheads live on Top of the Pops, before being scooped up by Union Records – the Virgin dance label – which helped her land her first number 1 hit on the US Billboard Dance Charts.

She is best known for the US number one dance hit ‘Slide On The Rhythm’ and her UK hits ‘Sexual Prime’ and ‘This Is The Place’ as well as being the lead singer in Lady Love, which made headlines as the first ever Western group to perform in the Soviet Union when they toured Poland with Mungo Jerry.

On her return, reggae label Trojan Records signed her up and released three singles – a reggae version of the Jackson 5’s ‘I’m Still Waiting’, ‘We got A Good Thing Going’ and ‘A Love Like Yours Don’t Come Knocking Every Day’.

She is now set to release her brand-new single ‘Wat A Ting’ on February 4 with her third album coming soon.

The album has been produced by her husband and musical partner Paul Caplin.

Zeeteah said: “What’s going on? The world has gone mad. We’re in a never-ending pandemic. Half of America worships a psychopath. And millions of people believe bonkers conspiracy theories. Wat a ting!”
