The heartbroken family of Nagiib Maxamed, who died after he was stabbed at a Bucks restaurant, have made an emotional plea for witnesses to come forward and help police.
Officers launched a murder investigation after Mr Maxamed, who was celebrating his 28th birthday, was fatally attacked at the Atesh restaurant and nightclub in Milton Keynes on December 27, 2021.
Mr Maxamed, who was from Milton Keynes, tragically died from his injuries the following day. A second victim needed hospital treatment but has since been discharged.
Today, the victim’s father Mustafe Maxamed issued a heartfelt tribute to the son he has lost.

“He was caring and kind and very loved by many. We have a lost a son, brother and friend.
“We as a family are destroyed and our hearts are broken at the loss of Nagiib.”
Mr Maxamed went on to appeal for the public’s help – particularly witnesses who were at Atesh that night – in the police’s investigation.
He said: “You may ask why I am speaking to you today. The reason is that we still need the public’s help in getting information on what happened on the night of our son’s death.
“People have come forward who attended the nightclub on that night and we are extremely grateful.
“But there are others who might have information but haven’t contacted the police.
“We would please ask that if you were at Atesh nightclub on Monday 27th of December and have information about what happened, then please call the police.”
