An ill horse who was unable to stand up was rescued by firefighters as they lifted her back to her feet with specialist equipment.
Firefighters, who are trained in large animal rescue, used lines to help release the 20-year-old horse from her stable.
They then used specialist rescue equipment attached to an onsite digger to help the horse onto her hooves.

The fire crews from High Wycombe and Aylesbury assisted the vet in monitoring the horse allowing her time to regain her balance.

The horse was then released from her supported sling allowing her to walk around with her owner in Haddenham.
Station Commander, Dave Tubbs, who attended the incident said: “Working with the vet, yard team, and owner, this incident provided the crews with the opportunity to utilise their technical capability and expertise in animal rescue.
“We were all so pleased with the successful conclusion, which saw the horse safely back on her feet and walking round the yard with her owner.”
