An Amersham man has been ordered to pay more than £500 after he was caught speeding at 99mph on a dual carriageway.

James Haydon, 48, of Amersham has been fined £466 and ordered to pay a further £136 in costs for breaking the speed limit on the A413 Amersham Road.

On May 29, 2021, Haydon was driving a Porsche along the dual carriageway when he was caught on a speed camera racing at 29mph above the 70mph speed limit.

At Oxford Magistrates' Court on December 21, Haydon pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding.

On top of the fine, Haydon was also given six penalty points on his licence.
