Buckinghamshire Council processes hundreds of planning applications each week – here are a few interesting recent cases you might have missed.

5G mast refused

A 5G mast outside a man’s home on Daws Hill Lane in High Wycombe was refused.

Peter Clark led a campaign against the new mast by CK Hutchinson by leafleting neighbours and putting a large sign outside his home.

The council found it would be “unduly obtrusive”.

Bucks Free Press:

Farm overhaul

Plans to overhaul a farm site for a new housing development have been submitted.

D Croft Transport Ltd wants to build a 38-home residential development at Model Farm in Chalfont St Peter.

Bucks Council refused a similar application by the developer in 2020.

Bubble tea shop

High Wycombe could get another bubble tea shop.

Teddy Bear Bubble Tea put forward plans for a bright pink shop at 4 Cornmarket, a Grade II listed building next door to the Lunch café in the town centre.

The town already has one bubble tea shop - Mooboo in Eden Shopping Centre.

Estate overhaul postponed

Plans to overhaul a trading estate have been postponed.

Aylesbury Vale Estates (AVE) wants to build up to 200 properties and a new 7,500-sqm business space on Rabans Lane, following some demolition.

Bucks Council, which has a 50 per cent interest in AVE, deferred a decision on the application until a future meeting.

A ‘gross inaccuracy’ in the report could potentially put hundreds of jobs at risk.
