Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after two shoppers were verbally abused.

Between 8.15pm and 8.45pm yesterday (February 15), a man and a woman in their thirties were exiting Waitrose in The Backs, when they were verbally abused by two men.

The men then signalled to a small silver car nearby but the pair were able to get away.

Investigating officer, PC Oscar Blunt, based at Amersham police station said: “We are releasing an image of a man who we would like to speak to in connection with this incident as we believe he may have information that could help our investigation.

“If you recognise this man, or if it is you, please get in touch with us.

“You can call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43220071217.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via the website.”
