A burglary took place in Flackwell Heath causing police to provide reassurance patrols.

The burglary took place at a home on Swains Lane yesterday (February 18).

Officers have since been out speaking to nearby residents to provide advice.

On social media, a Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "PCSO’s have been speaking to residents on Swains Lane, Flackwell Heath after a report of a residential burglary yesterday.

"We understand these incidents can be alarming therefore it is important for us to show our presence and provide advice and reassurance around this."
