Bucks Council has urged people to check in with families and neighbours to make sure they are safe following more strong winds.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for the area from 12 noon today until tomorrow afternoon.

Further strong winds, following Storm Eunice, today and Monday may cause possible disruption according to Bucks Council.

Transport for Buckinghamshire crews has responded to 352 call-outs since Wednesday, involving clearing over 300 downed trees affecting roads and footways.

They are still continuing with the clear-up today with any debris, fallen trees, or flooding should be reported using Fix My Street

The council also says they are aware that some areas of Bucks have lost power over the last few days and that residents should check with power suppliers for more details.

A Bucks Council social media post said: "More strong winds are on their way today and tomorrow.

"We're asking people to check in with their families and neighbours to make sure they are safe.
