A High Wycombe man has been fined for being drunk and disorderly at a Bucks train station.

Daniel Preston, 43, of Bevelwood Gardens, has been fined £40 and ordered to pay a further £119 in court costs after he admitted to the antisocial behaviour.

At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on February 14, Preston pleaded guilty to a charge of being drunk and disorderly.

The court heard how on January 28, Preston was intoxicated while at Amersham Railway Station, and engaged in disorderly behaviour.

After he admitted the offence, the magistrates felt a fine was the most appropriate sentence. He has been ordered to pay the fee by or before March 14.
