Pub in the Park has named a host of new acts who are set to perform at Higginson Park later this year.

Artists such as 80s rock legends; Happy Mondays, one-fifth of the Spice Girls; Melanie C and feel-good pop-rock band; The Feeling have been added to the line-up for the food-festival.

Also announced in the latest release are acts like Aswad, The Cuban Brothers, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Brand New Heavies and Huey Morgan DJ set.

They will be joining McFly, Rag’N’Bone Man and Sophie Ellis-Bextor who are set to headline.

Marlow-based chef Tom Kerridge will be joined by Simon Rimmer and two-star Michelin chef Michel Roux Jr in hosting the festival at nine different locations this year.

The festival will have award-winning pubs and restaurants serving tasting dishes showing their signature style from local favourites to revered eateries from farther afield.

There will also be chef demonstrations and the chance to buy the finest produce, top-quality shopping and a kid’s area to keep the little ones entertained.

Sister Sledge, famous for hits such as We Are Family, will headline the Thursday night while McFly, who are currently recording their new album, will perform the main stage on the Friday.

Rag'n'Bone Man, known for chart hits like Human and All You Ever Wanted, will headline Saturday night's set, with pop artist Sophie Ellis-Bextor performing on Sunday afternoon.

The first pubs and restaurants have been announced too including brand new to Marlow, Made in Oldstead by Tommy Banks.

Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown’s The Green Man will be there along with The Bull & Last and the award-winning Hoppers, serving Sri Lankan and South Indian-inspired dishes.

Returning favourites include Kerridge’s The Hand and Flowers and The Coach, Atul Kochhar Restaurants, Andrew Pern’s The Star Inn from the Great British Menu, Stephen Terry’s The Hardwick, The Mariners by Paul Ainsworth, Joshua Moroney and Mursal Saiq’s Cue Point who celebrates the best in British Afghan fusion BBQ.

The festival will take place at Higginson Park between May 12 and May 15 with tickets currently on sale here.
