A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman said: "A 17-year-old male sustained minor injuries and was able to be treated at the scene by our ambulance crew."

Thames Valley Police confirmed they did not attend the incident meaning only the ambulance service was on the scene.

The crossing has since been labelled as dangerous by a Marlow resident

An eyewitness to the incident, Nick Jarrett said: "This is a dangerous crossing but the Council has not responded to requests to make it safer."

The Bucks Free Press has approached Buckinghamshire Council for comment and will provide an update with their response.
