A man has been charged in connection with an attempted rape in High Wycombe.

Andrew Custos, aged 30, of Wroxham, Bracknell, was charged with one count each of attempted rape and assaulting an emergency worker on Friday (March) following a Thames Valley Police investigation.

The charges relate to an incident on Limmer Lane and Booker Common, High Wycombe, between 2.05am and 2.40am on February 26 this year.

Custos was remanded in custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (March 12).

He is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on April 11.
