An Aylesbury man has been charged with attempting a serious assault and a racist attack in the town.

Andrew Frost, 35, of Buckingham Street, is accused of attempting grievous bodily harm in an alleged attack in Somerville Way, Aylesbury, on February 25.

Frost appeared at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on February 28 where he was charged with attempted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was also charged with racially aggravated common assault against a second alleged victim.

Frost has not yet had an opportunity to plead guilty or not guilty to the charges. He is next due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on March 28.

The defendant has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
