A man with a 10-inch knife was arrested in High Wycombe town centre.

Three officers were assisted by two eyewitnesses as the man was seen with a large knife.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) called this a "great result" on social media.

A TVP spokesman said: "Officers P461, P4391 and P4869 with the help of two friendly witnesses, have arrested a male for possession of a 10-inch knife in the town centre.

"Great result everyone."
