A WOMAN has been spotted being bundled into a van by two men, prompting fears of a potential kidnapping.
Thames Valley Police said the possible kidnapping happened in High Wycombe last night (March 23) between 9.40pm and 10pm.
A member of the public reported seeing a woman being put into a vehicle by two men on Totteridge Road.
Police have since launched a probe into the potential kidnap and want to speak to anyone who may have been the female involved or one of the two men.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Steven Ring based at Amersham police station, said: “I realise this will be a distressing incident for people in the local area.
“Members of the public are likely to see an increased police presence as we carry out our enquiries.
“We are carrying out a thorough investigation in relation to this incident but as of yet a victim has not yet come forward.
“We believe this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who believe they are the female, or one of the two men involved in the incident.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who either witnessed or has dash-cam footage from the area.
“If you have any information which you think could help with this investigation, please contact the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101 or make a report online using the reference number 43220127088.
