A NEW tanning shop and beauty salon could open in a Bucks town.
Mr Josh Downing of Highfield Court in Hazlemere has submitted to Bucks Council a ‘change of use’ application relating to 30 Crendon Street in High Wycombe.
Plans outline the ‘conversion of the existing building (a former salon, and mortgage advisory office) to a tanning and beauty salon’.
It is understood the premises is currently vacant.

A single parking space in the courtyard to the rear will be retained, documents state.
Two full-time employees will be hired, it adds.
Opening hours will be 9.30am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on weekends.

“The site currently comprises an existing vacant unit,” council documents. “For the previous four to five years, a beauty salon had been in situ, and previously before that a mortgage advisory business.
“In between those uses, it appears that the unit had a period of being vacant.”
The applicant is now awaiting a decision from Bucks Council.
