A brutal attack on a Bucks train has left one victim with a bruise on the brain and another with a broken ankle.

Three people were assaulted on board a Metropolitan Line service travelling from Amersham to Harrow-on-the-Hill at around 12.30am on Sunday 13 February.

The three victims were on the train when they noticed a man and a woman were having an argument nearby.

When the three victims looked at the pair, the man reacted aggressively, punching and kicking one of the passengers.

The woman then got involved in the assault and the duo launched a sustained attack on the three victims, two of whom suffered serious injuries.

One of the passengers suffered a bruising on the brain, while another suffered a broken ankle.

British Transport Police has appealed for any witnesses to the attack to come forward and have released CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to in connection to the incident.
