A man has been stabbed following a fight in a High Wycombe McDonald’s.

At 3.50am on Saturday morning, an argument which turned into a fight broke out in the McDonald’s in High Street, High Wycombe.

During the fight, which involved four or five males, a man in his twenties suffered stab wounds.

Thames Valley Police believe the fight may have been filmed by people who witnessed the incident.

The victim was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital and has since been discharged.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward and help with the investigation.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant James Rocks of CID based at High Wycombe, said: “We are investigating this incident following this altercation in which a man has been stabbed.

“We are following a number of lines of enquiry.

“We believe that a number of people may have filmed this incident on their phones, as such we would ask anyone who has video footage of the incident or may have witnessed it to please come forward.

“Anyone with information should call 101 or they can go online quoting reference 43220131188.

“However if you do not wish to speak to the police you can report 100% anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
