Marlow Hockey Club's men's 1st team went the season unbeaten wrapping up their season by beating Fareham 2s 6-1 at Pound Lane.

This meant the team played 22 league games winning 17 games and drawing 5.

The league title was mathematically confirmed last month following an empathic mid-week 5-0 victory against Reading on March 23.

Throughout the season, the team scored 95 goals and only conceded 24.

Callum White added another three goals to his tally against Fareham to take him to 37 goals for the season.

Goals also came from Sam Burroughs, Lewis Goodman and Toby Hill in front of a big crowd for the final game of the season.

The team will now play in the South Central Premier first division following their promotion.

The ladies' 1st team finished their campaign in third place after a stalemate in their final game against Reading 2s.
