Firefighters were called to a fire which broke out at a £3 million mansion in Cookham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the property on Alleyns Lane at 11.36am on Saturday, April 2.
According to the Daily Mail, the property belonged to late comedian Tim Brooke-Taylor, who died from coronavirus in April 2020, and his wife Christine.
A spokesperson for RBFRS said: “At the height of the fire, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead, Slough, Langley, Bracknell, Wokingham Road, Windsor and Wokingham attended the scene alongside a specialist appliance from Bracknell and crews from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
“Additionally the incident was attended by two Officers from RBFRS and three from Buckinghamshire.”
The spokesperson added upon arrival, crews found the large, detached building on fire.

“Using two hose reels and four main jets, crews equipped with breathing apparatus were able to extinguish the fire,” they said.
“Crews were on the scene for around six hours and returned to re-inspect the area for hot spots."
A fire investigation is now underway to find out the cause of the fire.
