Police are searching for four people following a barn fire that officers believe was started deliberately.

CCTV images have been released as Thames Valley Police (TVP) investigate the arson attack at Horsenden Lane in Princes Risborough on January 23.

Between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, emergency services were on the scene after 400 tonnes of hay were set on fire.

The fire destroyed the barn and the hay inside.

Officers monitored the barn through the night and throughout Monday, January 24, to check for hot spots, and damping down.

The RSPCA also attended the scene to care for a number of doves that were found in the barn.

Investigating officer, PC Marea Logan, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in investigating this arson.

“We are releasing images of four youths who we believe may have vital information in connection with the incident.  

“If you recognise them or if they are you we would advise you to please get in touch with police immediately.
