A High Wycombe man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted murder.

Lloyd Manyange, aged 28, of The Pastures, High Wycombe, is accused of trying to kill a man in Aylesbury on March 29.

The charge is in connection with an incident where a man suffered stab wounds in Walton Street, Aylesbury.

At Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday, Manyange appeared in court via a video link from HMP Bullingdon where he is remanded in custody.

During the hearing, Manyange pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted murder and not guilty to a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

A trial lasting up to three days is due to take place at Aylesbury Crown Court next month, starting on May 16.

Manyange has been remanded in custody until the date of his next hearing.
