A man who has been camping in a wooded area close to a major Taplow road is set to be given emergency housing after police were alerted by concerned members of the public. 

Officers from Thames Valley Police Chiltern and South Bucks and Connection Support outreach workers went to go see the "vulnerable" male who has been living in a tent in a wooded area in Taplow after worried passers-by raised fears for his safety.

Police made a visit to his makeshift camp - which they said was near a "major road in Taplow" to check on him this morning (Tuesday). 

The homeless man has now been offered emergency housing provision to get him off the streets and into a warm bed as of tonight.
