Around 120 guests will sit down at Marlow Sports Club for a two-course dinner in a bid to raise £10,000.

As part of the event, there will be an online auction with a number of different prizes including nights away, golf trips, and restaurant vouchers.

On the night, guests will enjoy ‘Odessa Meat Balls’, artisan bread, and a fresh green salad with 'Yabluko Kak’, an apple cake, for dessert.

A spokesperson for the event said: "It is heart-warming that the Marlow community has come together in their support for the Ukrainian people and are welcoming Ukrainian families.

"This could not have been done without ‘The Marlow Ukraine Collective’ who work tirelessly to help Ukrainians coming to the UK to get visas and match them with suitable families in the Marlow area.

"We are lucky enough to be joined by two young ladies, recently arrived from war-torn Ukraine, together with two hosts, one of whom will be giving a talk about this successful and valuable project."
