An exhibition in Amersham celebrates the work of local painter Fred Stubbings on Saturday May 14.
The limited time, one day only exhibition is open between 11am and 4pm in Coleshill Village Hall.
It is curated by the Coleshill History Group, and has more than 40 paintings from Fred Stubbings (1870-1956).
They will be displayed alongside modern day photos of the views he painted in the Chiltern area during his long career – which also saw him lead the Coleshill Village School for 34 years as its headmaster, and All Saints Church choir as the organist and choirmaster for 48 years.

Alongside art, Mr Stubbings was a keen sportsman and football player for Amersham, and a successful musician, who played the piano, flute and piccolo and had a fine tenor voice.
Although he had many exhibitions during his lifetime, the exhibition is the first opportunity to see a number of his works under one roof since 1994, Coleshill History Group said.
