A man in his twenties was pronounced dead at a home in High Wycombe.

Emergency services were called to Rayners Close in Loudwater at around 1.30pm following reports of a sudden death.

Police officers and forensic investigators were at the scene of the incident and have described the death as "unexplained but not suspicious".

A police spokesperson said: "Thames Valley Police were called to an address in Rayners Close yesterday (May 19) at around 1.30pm by the South Central Ambulance Service following a report of a sudden death.

"Officers attended but sadly a man in his twenties was pronounced dead at the scene.

"His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and their next of kin have been informed.

"A file will be prepared for the coroner."
