Streetlights broken since December has left an area near a High Wycombe supermarket car park entrance "very dark and dangerous".
The 10 streetlights around the entrance to Morrisons car park in Parker Knoll Way have been out for months, a resident complained on FixMyStreet.
They said: "At night the area is very dark and especially dangerous underneath the railway bridge.
"People have been reporting this problem since December and all we get is "problem is being looked at' with one reply from TfB being 'problem resolved'.
"The lights are still out and will be reported and reported until someone does something about it.
"Or do we have to wait until someone is injured or killed while trying to cross the road?"
Cllr Steve Broadbent, Buckinghamshire Council's cabinet member for transport, said: “We are aware of an ongoing fault with these lights due to an issue with the electricity supply to the site.
"We are working with SSE Energy Services to resolve this as soon as possible and apologise to residents for any inconvenience.”
