Two drivers were caught doing nearly 100mph on two different roads today because they were "running late".
One driver was caught speeding at 98mph on the M40 between junction 1A for the M40 and junction 2 for Beaconsfield.
Another was doing 95mph on the A413 in Gerrards Cross.
Both were caught by an unmarked patrol car and both had the same excuse when pulled over by officers - that they were "running late".
The police officers did not think this was a good excuse - and reported them both for excess speed.
