A flat in Bucks has been shut down by the police due to "nuisance" behaviour.

An apartment in Wycliffe End, Aylesbury, has been made subject to a closure order preventing anyone aside from specific individuals from going inside.

The order was made at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court on May 23, and will be in force for the next three months.

Police issued a closure notice for the property on January 6 under section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

According to the act, a court can issue a closure order if a person there has engaged, or is likely to engage in disorderly, offensive or criminal behaviour.

The order can also be issued if the premises are used as a nuisance to the public, or if disorder nearby is associated with the premises.
