The courts have been very busy over the past month with drivers who have broken the law coming to receive their punishment.

A lot of people who break the rules of the road will receive a small fine or points on their licence, but those who commit serious crimes or who are repeat offenders can lose the right to get behind the wheel.

Here is a list of vehicular offenders who were banned from the roads in the first half of May.

Drink driving:

Amir Khan, 33, of Booker Lane, High Wycombe. Driving over the drink drive limit in Rupert Avenue, High Wycombe, on February 6. Fined £323. Costs £285. Disqualified from driving for 14 months. Using a motor vehicle without third party insurance in Rupert Avenue, High Wycombe, on February 6. Fined £323.

Kayley Bristow, 32, of Totteridge Road, High Wycombe. Driving over the drink drive limit in Bank Street, High Wycombe, on April 16. Fined £120. Disqualified from driving for 15 months. Costs £85.

Kelsey Hamblin, 30, of Chearsley Road, Long Crendon. Driving over the drink drive limit in Thame Road, Longwick, on April 16. Fined £350. Costs £110. Disqualified from driving for 13 months.

Jonathan Quinton, 24, of Lily Bottom Lane, Lacey Green. Driving over the drink drive limit in Marlow Road, Marlow, on December 3, 2021. Costs £180. Community order made. Must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Disqualified from driving for 42 months.

Neil Cameron, 53, of Tedder Road, Wendover. Driving over the drink drive limit in Tring Road, Aylesbury, on April 17. Community order made. Costs £180. Disqualified from driving for 30 months.

Amos Burke, 65, of Rowan Avenue, High Wycombe. Driving over the drink drive limit in London Road, High Wycombe, on April 23. Fined £120. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 21 months.

Samantha Yates, 44, of Park Place, Amersham. Driving over the drink drive limit in White Lion Road, Amersham, on December 26, 2021. Fined £180. Costs £654. Disqualified from driving for 22 months.

Drug driving:

Muusa Rashid, 30, of Bath Road, Slough. Driving over the drug drive limit on the M25, Gerrards Cross, on July 23, 2021. Fined £531. Costs £138. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Matthew Chappell, 47, of Furlong Road, Bourne End. Driving over the drug drive limit. On January 15, in Cleares Pasture, Burnham, had a quantity of Benzoylecgonine in their blood. Fined £120. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Speeding:

Callum Garman, 19, of Churchill Avenue, Aylesbury. Exceeding the 30mph speed limit in London Road, Aston Clinton, on June 23, 2021. Speed recorded was 47mph. Fined £231. Costs £124. Disqualified from driving for six months.

Andrew Gibbs, 67, of Mill End Road, High Wycombe. Exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Banbury Road, Oxford, on July 28, 2021. Speed recorded was 36mph. Fined £117. Costs £124. Driving record endorsed with three points. Exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Marylebone Road, Camden, on September 8, 2021. Fined £117. Disqualified from driving for six months.

Malcolm Beill, 74, of Lewins Road, Chalfont St Peter. Exceeding the 40mph speed limit on the A41 Bicester on July 20, 2021. Speed recorded was 68mph. Fined £923. Costs £182. Disqualified from driving for 14 days.

Steven Coker, 57, of Clayton Road, Lane End. Exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Holtspur Lane, Wooburn Green, on August 5, 2021. Speed recorded was 49mph. Fined £538. Costs £144. Disqualified from driving for six months.

Driving without insurance:

Shakeel Mahmood, 27, of Spearing Road, High Wycombe. Using a motor vehicle without third party insurance in Spearing Road, High Wycombe, on February 11. Disqualified from driving for three months. Fined £120. Driving otherwise then in accordance with a licence in Spearing Road, High Wycombe, on February 11. No separate penalty

Ronald Tang, 25, of Cokes Lane, Little Chalfont. Using a motor vehicle without third party insurance in Bulkeley Avenue, Windsor, on October 14, 2021. Fined £461. Costs £136. Disqualified from driving for six months.

Failing to provide specimen:

Tobias Fox-Kharbough, 20, of Ogilvie Road, High Wycombe. Failing to provide a specimen for analysis when suspected of having driven a vehicle in High Wycombe on April 24. Fined £300 Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 14 months.
