The former Chicken Cottage takeaway in High Wycombe could be turned into a new taxi firm.
Plans have been submitted to transform the vacant site at 5 Oxford Street in the town centre into a taxi business.
The property used to be home to Chicken Cottage which has since moved next door to 4 Oxford Street.
The planning application submitted reveals that the building would be let out to new clients by Mr Sheraz Khan.
Mr Sheraz Khan owns both 4 and 5 Oxford Street with access remaining to the properties via a side door so that the store room and toilet can still be used if needed
The application also says that the new tenant would potentially want to put up new signage for the taxi business, design pending.
Part of the application reads: "Being situated on a busy street, the intended use will not draw in more traffic as the business is mostly done over the phone."
