A woman was rescued from a vehicle following a three-car crash in High Wycombe.

On Wednesday 15 June, firefighters were called to Butlers Court, off Micklefield Road, following the collission.

When they arrived at around 10.10am, the firefighters had to assist a woman in getting out of one of the cars.

Fire engines from High Wycombe and Beaconsfield were called to the scene. Thames Valley Police and an ambulance from the South Central Ambulance service were also present.

The woman who was rescued from the car was cared for by the ambulance staff but did not need to be taken to hospital.

Following the rescue, firefighters spent some time making sure the rest of the scene was safe.
