A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following an assault last night.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) warned of a higher police presence in the Fishermead area following the incident last night.
The woman has since been released on bail.
A TVP spokesperson said: "You may see more officers in the Fishermead area today following an incident of assault with injury last night.
"Thanks to those who called in about this offence.
"A 35 year old woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. She has since been bailed.
"If you have any concerns, please speak to the officers while they are out and about, or call 101 quoting reference 43220270523."
