A 16-year-old boy has been charged with drug crimes after officers allegedly found a large amount of class A drugs ready to be sold.

The teenager was arrested yesterday (June 28) on suspicion of being in possession with the intent to supply Class A drugs, namely, crack cocaine and heroin.

The boy was detained by officers on Moorcroft Lane, Aylesbury just before 2pm with officers then completing a search at a related address.

Officers reportedly found a "large quantity" of Class A drugs being prepared for onward sale.

The boy has now been charged with possession with the intent to supply class A drugs, heroin and crack cocaine, and possession of class B drugs, cannabis.

He remains in police custody and will appear in court later today (June 29).
