If you're heading on the M4 this weekend, this is the disruption you can expect due to several motorway closures, according to National Highways England.

This is mostly due to Smart Motorway works and other repairs.

If you are set to be travelling within these areas at that sort of time, then take note of what diversions will be in place.

Here’s a list of all of the closures on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10.

M4 road closures on Saturday, July 9

On the M4 Westbound between Junction 3 and Junction 4B there will be a carriageway closure for Smart Motorway works.

A diversion will be in place via local authority roads i.e. A312 Southbound, A4 Westbound, A3044 Southbound, A3113 Westbound, M25 Clockwise Jct 14 to Jct 15 to re-join M4.

Again, on the M4 Westbound between Junction 3 and Junction 4B there will be a carriageway closure for Smart Motorway works.
