The House of Lords and the House of Commons - captained by MP Matt Hancock - are set to take part in a cricket match in Buckinghamshire.

On Thursday, August 11, the famous Wormsley Estate in Ibstone will host a clash between Lord's Taveners and representatives from the House of Lords and Commons Cricket Club, captained by former Health Minister Matt Hancock MP.

As well as politicians, stars from the world of sport and entertainment will also be taking part in the special day, including cricketers Monty Panesar and Andy Caddick, teleivison star Phil Spencer, Sky Sports presenter Matt Floyd and former Southampton footballer Jason Dodd.

Former cricketers David Gower and Mike Gatting will be umpiring the afternoon's play.

Lord's Taveners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sport charity, hoping to empower young people facing the challenges of inequality through cricket.

The day will be a chance to see firsthand the amazing work the charity does through disability cricket programmes, in partnership with Oxfordshire Cricket.

Entry is free, but you must register in advance - go to ww1.emma-live.com/wormsley to find out more.
