Police stopped a suspected drink-driver who lived just a three-minute walk from the pub he had been in.
The man was seen to be "very wobbly" on his feet before driving off from a pub in a village near Aylesbury.
Officers stopped his vehicle where he failed the roadside breath test and was subsequently arrested.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "PC’s Dollery and Gunner from the Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce stopped a vehicle in a rural village near Aylesbury last night as the driver was seen to be very wobbly on his feet before driving off.
"The male failed the roadside breath test and was subsequently arrested.
"In custody he provided a specimen of breath reading 61 on the intoximeter therefore was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol.
"This chap chose to drive home from the village pub even though it was only a three minute walk."
