The face of a High Wycombe drug dealer who was caught with thousands of pounds worth of illegal substances has been revealed.

Thames Valley Police has released a mugshot of Lucas Gomes, a 21-year-old who was jailed for four years and six months on Friday at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Gomes, of Conegra Court, had pleaded guilty to charges of possession with intent to supply cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

The court heard how police raided Gomes’s flat on February 8, 2021 and April 9, 2021.

Across the two raids, officers seized 28g of cocaine, 27g of heroin, 21g of crack cocaine and 132g of cannabis.

The drugs had a total street value of around £10,000.

The court heard how Gomes played a significant role in preparing and then selling the drugs at street level.

Improvised spoons and blow torches found in the flat indicated that Gomes had been “cooking” the crack cocaine before bagging it up ready for sale.

During both police raids, Gomes was at home when police entered the flat. On the second occasion, the drug dealer attempted to hold the door and stop officers from getting in before they forced their way inside.

Judge Catherine Tulk found that Gomes had gained a significant financial advantage from his criminal behaviour, and was not convinced when he attempted to argue that he was the victim of exploitation.
