A High Wycombe man charged with fraud in connection with a fish and chip shop has been made to wait after his case was delayed.
Jasvir Nizzar, 54, of The Spinney, has been charged with a count of fraud by false representation.
It is alleged that on April 28, 2020, the defendant fraudulently claimed to be in occupation of a fish and chip shop in a Covid-19 Business Grant form.
Nizzar has pleaded not guilty to the charge against him.

At a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court yesterday (Monday), the case was put back and relisted for January 16, 2023.
It is unclear why the case has been delayed.
Nizzar has been granted unconditional bail until the next hearing.
