A paedophile who attempted to show sexual images to a child must wait to learn his fate after his sentencing was delayed.
Robert Cook, aged 51, was due to be sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court today (Wednesday) after he admitted to sexual offences involving children.
However, due to a hold-up in court, Cook must now wait until October 3 to learn what his future holds.
During today’s hearing, the court heard how Cook, of Bullington End Road in Milton Keynes, had pleaded guilty to charges of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to cause a child to watch or look at an image of sexual activity.

Cook was represented by Jon Swain, while the prosecution was represented by Nigel Ogborne.
The court heard how Cook, who is remanded in HMP Bullingdon, was ready to be sentenced today. However, a delay in preparing a pre-sentence report meant that the hearing had to be adjourned.
Judge Jonathan Cooper ruled that the sentencing should be postponed until October 3.
Cook was remanded in custody until the next hearing.
