Meters of fence set on fire in Amersham yesterday.

The fire at Old Saw Mill Place in Little Chalfont destroyed five metres of fence.

It then spread to the roof of a conservatory and the roof of a house on the cul-de-sac on August 10 around 12.30pm.

Two appliances and crew from Amersham and one from Gerrards Cross came to the scene, where the firefighters used two hose reel jets and two thermal imaging cameras to put out the blaze.

Reportedly Thames Vallye Police were making enquiries with residents about the incident, one social media post claimed.
