An Aylesbury woman has been given a restraining order after she posted a knife through a man's letterbox during a campaign of harassment.

Kerry Seagrave, aged 51, of Prebendal Avenue, has been ordered not to contact her victim after she harassed him over a period of two months.

At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on July 27, the court heard how Seagrave intimidated her victim at his Aylesbury home between January 21 and March 22.

During that time, Seagrave stood outside his door shouting for him to come outside, threatened to burn his house down and posted a knife through his letterbox.

Seagrave had initially denied a charge of harassment without violence, but changed her mind and entered a guilty plea on June 27.

At the most recent hearing, Seagrave was sentenced to a community order requiring her to carry out rehabilitation activity.

She was also ordered to pay £250 compensation as well as being made subject to a restraining order.
