RIVER rescue teams were seen on the River Thames in Marlow earlier this week.
Firefighters were out on the water in rescue boats but there was no need for concern, as crews were in fact taking part in a river awareness campaign.
The Bucks Search & Rescue team were patrolling the patrolling the river and bank side on Saturday, August 13.
Crews from Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service all worked together to promote water safety.
Their message comes at a time when people are more likely to swim and jump into rivers during the hot weather.
Bucks Search & Rescue said on social media: "Importantly though please be vigilant and aware of the dangers that our waterways can pose, especially during this hot weather."
