Firefighters were called to a crash involving one care in Wendover to help rescue a man who was "medically trapped".
The car had been flipped onto its roof following the incident on Hale Lane at 11:08pm.
Medically trapped means a person is trapped in their car due to injury, as opposed to the crash damage preventing them from getting out.
A Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "An appliance and crew from Aylesbury and Amersham attended a road traffic incident involving one car which had been flipped onto its roof.
"Firefighters worked closely with South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) and Thames Valley Police to release a medically trapped male adult.
"Once released the casualty was left in the care of SCAS."
