Police search for man going door to door 'checking if houses are occupied'
Police are looking for a man in Amersham who has been going door to door.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) have received multiple reports of the man and are asking residents to call 999 if the man knocks on their door.
A TVP spokesperson said: "We are getting multiple reports regarding a male going door to door in Amersham, we are asking all residents to report this to us on 999 at the time so that we can resource officers to attend and speak with the male.
"At this time we are unaware of the male's intentions, however, there is a chance he could be checking if houses are occupied.
"Please find burglary advice here to protect your house."
