A vehicle was seized and a driver was reported after police officers stopped a car due to defective brake lights.

The car was stopped in Milton Keynes after officers spotted the faulty brake lights.

Once the car was pulled over officers found that the driver had no licence or insurance and was therefore reported to the court.

The vehicle was also seized.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said on social media: "RP Sergeant stopped this car in Milton Keynes due to defective brake lights and indicator.

"The driver was found to have no licence or insurance.

"Vehicle seized and driver reported to court."
