Four men have been arrested on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle after being caught out by a CCTV camera.

The incident occured just before 10pm on Wednesday, August 17, when a vehicle with a cloned licence plate was spotted in Iver.

Officers followed the vehicle, a blue Lexus, into Slough and tried to stop it using a tyre-deflating device.

It failed to stop, however, and drove dangerously until it collided with a parked car and the occupants ran off.

Four men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and theft of a motor vehicle.

They remain in police custody.
