A PAIR of comedy writers who hail from South Bucks are to return to the airwaves with a new series.
"Space Hacks" - the brainchild of former classmates at Sir William Borlase's Grammar School, Marlow - returns to the BBC on March 1.
Stuart Sumner, 33, and Ian Simons, 32, who now live in London, met at the school and have written together ever since.
Stuart grew up in New Road, Marlow Bottom, while Ian lived in Chapel Road and later Highfield Road in Flackwell Heath.
The plot centres around journalists from outer space Charlie Palmer and Moog Johnson.
Stuart said: "The pair spend their time trying to do as little work as possible, sat in their space ship in Clapham Common, which is disguised as a hedge."
The first run of their four-part sitcom aired in February last year and returns on March 1.
Stuart said he still has a great affection for his hometown.
"We try to get back once a month, and we're back every Christmas. You can always find us in the Chequers Pub," he said.
