An "honest" driver has had their car seized in High Wycombe after they were caught without a full licence or car insurance.
Officers on patrol in the town on Friday pulled the Peugeot driver while they were on their way home from work.
When the officers went to speak to the driver, they quickly confessed that they were on the road with no insurance and without a full licence.
The police then proceeded to seize the vehicle - the third they had taken off the roads that day due to similar offending in High Wycombe.
In a post on social media, TVP Roads Policing said: "When the driver was stopped they were very honest and quickly admitted to having no insurance and then shortly followed by only having a provisional licence and they were not being supervised by a suitable person.
"The result is that the car has been seized and the driver has been reported to court where they face losing the provisional licence.
"If you choose to drive without insurance or a licence we will target you and you face losing your car and your licence.
"This was one of three cars seized today due to a lack of documents just in High Wycombe. Another driver was also issued a ticket for using a mobile phone whilst driving."
