An unidentified substance that caused the emergency services to shut a Buckinghamshire road yesterday (Saturday) has been removed.
Police, fire, and ambulance services were all called to Myrtle Bank in Stacey Bushes on Saturday afternoon after the unknown substance was delivered to a property in the street.
Residents were warned to keep their doors and windows closed while the emergency services dealt with the situation.
The area has now been made safe and the road reopened after emergency services removed the substance from the area on Saturday evening.
Police have still not revealed what the substance was, but an investigation is ongoing.
In a post on social media, Thames Valley Police said: "Emergency services have now left Myrtle Bank, Stacey Bushes.
"The substance has been safely removed and the road has reopened.
"Thank you to the local community for your patience whilst we dealt with this. An investigation will now be carried out."
